Purpose of the Job

 

The position will focus on operational support as well as the formulation and implementation of strategies for the Consumer Insights Application Support Team, that will create business value, help manage risk, reduce cost, and drive innovation by harnessing and leveraging data as an asset.

 

Job Objectives

The primary area of responsibility of this role will be to:

Manage the Operational Support of a Consumer Insights Platform, inclusive of the implementation of governance processes.

Manage innovation initiatives, inclusive of projects supporting consumer insights and commercial products and services.

Lead opportunities of new developments, including opportunity definition, business plan, scope, requirements, and execution.

Lead the development of sustainable, cost-effective, competitive, and innovative structures and processes to support the Consumer Insights application.

Manage the definition of scope of solutions and ensure understanding of scope by business users.

Develops and presents proposals, updates, issues, and findings to senior management inclusive of suggestions, risk mitigation, cost-benefit analysis, and action plans.

Perform as a business resource with technology partners & internal stakeholders, vendors, and suppliers.

Manages and maintains good stakeholder relationships and ensure delivery on agreed requirements.

Analyses and understands the current business environment and strategies, as well as trends and developments in the

industry.

Assembles a team of resources to design and implement solutions and support processes

Research, documents, and prepare business cases on appropriate technologies, which will align with the business strategies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

 

Experience

Experience in retail industry.

In-depth experience working with data (e.g., data quality, data compliance, governance).

Experience with specialised data management toolsets.

Cloud and Data Analytics Application implementation experience and involvement.
