MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

 

To ensure effective and efficient tender administration function

within Seda.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

 

 Implement SCM strategy and activity plan.

 Manage the Bidding process and ensure compliance to SCM

Policy.

 Facilitate and manage the tender contracting activities.

 Risk Management.

 

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

 

 Matric and National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain

Management/Procurement/Logistics/Business Admin/Public

Administration.

 

REQUIRED WORK EXPERIENCE

 

 4 - 6 year’s work experience in Supply Chain Management

environment of which at least 3 years working experience in

Tender Administration.

 Able to demonstrate:

 Comprehensive knowledge of public sector SCM legislative

environment.

 Comprehensive knowledge of SCM policy and procedures, PFMA,

PPPFA, National Treasury Regulations and BBBEE amended Codes

of Good Practice and all other applicable legislations.
