A national Waste Company based in Durban is recruiting for an experienced SHEQ Manager with traceable references.
Candidate must be available immediately.

Maintain and manage the company SHEQ management system
Assist in retaining all current accreditations (OSHAS 18001. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, SASOL approved) and working towards new accreditation
Preparation for all company audits (Internal, External and Client)
Prepare monthly reports, quarterly management review and national objective and targets
Compile procedures, policies, work instructions and SOP`s
Compile Generic, Aspects and Impact and Business Risk Assessments and EMP’s.
Office and site inspections to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and standards.
Investigations (Incident and accident, near miss and Improvements)
Develop communications for all branches and sites that incudes written information, tool box talks, safety briefings, lessons learned.
Compile training material for equipment and procedures.
Assist with tender/submission documentation
Emergency preparedness e.g. compile procedures, emergency plans.
Quality Control Plans.
Inspection of branches and sites.
Responsible for the environmental philosophy throughout the company, establishes a culture based on sound principles and to drive improvement projects
Responsible for team management
6 to 8 years of relevant experience
Intro to SAMTRAC
Incident Investigation Course
Lead Auditors course
ISO 9001, 14001, 18001
Waste Management experience preferred
Ability to read emotions
Good communication skills
Good written skills
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Permanent
Salary: R25,000.00 - R30,000.00 per month
