Job Description

Leader in the field of precision mechanical manufacturing seeks to employ a suitably qualified and experienced SHE Officer at their premises near Cape Town.

 

For the position you would be required to have:

 

Degree or Diploma in Safety Management

Minimum of 5 years’ related experience in a Manufacturing environment

Sound knowledge of OHSA and relevant regulations

Sound knowledge of HIRA

Sound knowledge of RCAT (incident investigation processes and their causes)

Computer literate

Ability to create a positive SHE culture

Responsibilities would include you to:

 

Implement and maintain programs to ensure the company complies with all relevant safety and environmental legislation

Keep management informed of all legal requirements

Implement and maintain awareness programs related to SHE

Conduct safety audits to ensure compliance with SHE requirements, objectives and standards

Stay abreast of changes and methodologies

On offer is a remuneration package of around R500k per annum.
