Job Description:

 

Our client, a leading clothing manufacturing company, based in Durban seeks a dynamic Senior Production Manager to join their team.

 

The successful incumbent will report to the Director and is a vital role in the running of the business.

 

The incumbent will be HEAD of production for the company and will head up a team of 9 production people and 9 QA people.

 

Experience required:

 

* Must have knowledge and experience with production; Factories; Quality; Delivery dates; Marking, Grading and patterns as well as understanding customer’s requirements.

 

* Must have worked with large chain stores

 

* Thorough knowledge of local production as well as cross border production.

 

* Must be well organised

 

* Strong attention to delivery dates and quality

 

* Good understanding on the importance of production planning

 

* A proactive person who knows that Quality and delivery by due date is crucial.
