Senior Fund Development Manager

 

One of our NPO clients based in Cape Town,  they are looking for a Senior Fund Development Manager to join their team.

 

Qualifications

 

▪ Degree or Diploma in Marketing, PR, or similar

 

▪ Applicable / related short courses

 

Experience

 

▪ A minimum of 10 years’ proven, relevant experience in fund development / resource mobilisation

 

▪ At least 5 years’ experience managing a team

 

▪ Experience conducting media interviews – live and recorded radio; television etc.

 

▪ Public speaking experience

 

▪ Microsoft Office 365 experience beneficial

 

▪ Microsoft Dynamics Business / Business Central experience beneficial

 

Requirements

 

▪ Driver’s licence and own vehicle essential

 

▪ Willingness to travel

 

▪ Excellent verbal and written skills

 

▪ Strong interpersonal communication and relationship-building skills

 

▪ Ability to solve complex problems and see projects through to completion

 

▪ Analytical skills to study problems and identify solutions

 

▪ Good technical knowledge and expertise with a variety of software, hardware and applications capability

 

▪ Team-oriented attitude

 

▪ Ability to manage time productively and effectively prioritise and manage numerous projects

 

▪ Fast learner, with the ability to adapt to various circumstances and work environments

 

▪ Strong customer service ethic
