Minimum Requirements

 

Qualification(s):

 

 4 year Degree (Safety Risk Management or Related)

 

 

Experience

 

 7 Years related minimum experience.

Skills and Competencies

 

 Knowledge of ISO9000, 14000 and 18000 codes of practice

 Knowledge of OHS Act

 Knowledge of risk planning and risk performance measurement

 Analytical and surveillance techniques

 Interpersonal skills

 Facilitation and communication skills

 Understand budgeting, financial and statistical systems

 Knowledge of auditing techniques

 Occurrence management

 Knowledge NKP Act

 Knowledge of PSR & ORHVS

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide Assurance, legal & compliance direction for the SHE programme at Power Station matters pertaining OHS Act and other relevant legislation and also ensuring compliance thereof
  • Quality management and business processes management
  • Management of the occurrence management and audit processes
  • Provide direction and support in terms of integrated risk management
  • Provide an integrated business improvement function
  • Manage fire station, Emergency Preparedness function and medical centre.
  • Develop & direct functional group risk business plans
