WastePlan and SmartMatta in KZN is seeking a hands on, business minded Operations Manager to be based in our Queensburgh offices. Waste or Services industry experience is a must.

 

Job Summary

To manage all aspects of operations within the KZN Region. Achieve the overall objective of creating an effective, efficient and profitable operation as well as ensuring maximum recycling extraction. Ensure SHEQ standards are maintained within the facilities and sites where WastePlan and SmartMatta is operational.

 

Requirements:

 

 

A relevant diploma or degree in operations / business management

 

Minimum 5 years’ working experience in a similar role

 

Minimum of 3 years’ middle management experience is required

 

Knowledge and experience in related waste management and recycling

 

High proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential

 

Valid Code 8 driver’s license and own vehicle

 

A willingness to, at times, work on holidays / weekends and evenings if operations require it
