Key Job Purpose:

To coordinate and lead NYDA’s participation on the National Pathway Management Network

programme. To scope, plan, implement, coordinate and monitor NYDA’s programmatic approach

to, sub projects conceptualised under the Pathway Management Model. Ensure coordinated

contribution of all NYDA products and services (Economic Development and NYS programmes)

towards the achievement of overall project objectives ensuring alignment to NYDA’s strategic

objectives.

 

Key Outcomes: (what deliverables are required to achieve job purpose)

  • Develop, set and obtain approval of NYDA’s National Pathway Management Network (NPMN)

program priorities, including objectives, benefits, key deliverables and resource requirements.

  • Develop relationships with key government and civil society partners including but not limited to the

key programmatic partners, the Department of Employment and Labour and the Harambee Youth

Employment Accelerator.

  • Develop a database of NYDA’s prospective hiring partners, ensuring that strong relationships with

hiring partners are established and maintained. Formalise these relationships through documenting

and signing documents describing a cooperative relationship with agreed objectives.

  • Lead role scoping meetings with prospective hiring partners to understand their needs, ideal

candidate profile and gather key matching inputs from the NYDA Jobs Database

  • Guide and Coordinate NYDA’s contribution to the National Pathway Management Network (NPMN)
  • Ensure a clear marketing and communications role for the NYDA in the National Pathway

Management Network that co-ordinates across multiple brands.

  • Develop the key metrics to be tracked ensuring alignment to the NYDA’s APP. and track key metrics

from National Pathway Management Network

  • Establish and maintain of NYDA’s NPMN national, provincial and local institutional coordination plan

and implementation framework using the NYDA centre and district network.

  • Reporting Monthly, Quarterly and Annually.

  • Work with NYDA’s legal unit to document a standard agreement to

be signed with hiring partners

  • Track partner progress in implementation of these partnerships

  • Ensure the NYSP stays abreast of current developments and future

trends in jobs and related skills requirements

  • Ensure these trends are incorporated or form part of NYDA’s training

programmes

KPA 4: Guide and Coordinate

NYDA’s contribution to the

National Pathway

Management Network

  • Support implementation of the NPMN on behalf of the NYDA.
  • Ensure the NPMN vision is shared with stakeholders internally by

ensuring project concepts and plans are presented to relevant

internal channels

  • Support lobby efforts for the implementation of NPMN programmes

at National, Provincial and Municipal levels of government on

behalf of the NYDA

  • Coordinate the NYDA’s centre and district office network to support

the project

  • Monitor the implementation of NPMN within the NYDA’s Office

network

  • Assist with the continuous implementation of communication on

NPMN progress on implementation for internal stakeholders
