  • Academic qualifications:

             Relevant Btech/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Software

Development or equivalent


  • Experience:

             1 Year teaching experience in a tertiary environment will be


             Knowledge of the use of ITS will be an advantage.

             Excellence in written, oral and electronic communication skills.

             Good command of the subject area.


Key performance area


             Teaching of subjects in the ICT Faculty at eMalahleni Campus.

             Perform administrative tasks related to teaching and learning and other functions of an academic department at a university of technology.

             Involvement in community engagement projects of the department.

             Involvement in specific departmental activities e.g. such as presentation days, departmental meetings, open days, registration, orientation etc.

             Lecturing duties:  lecturing, invigilating, and marking of scripts, processing of marks.

             Assist in the practical/laboratory work including (language laboratory).

             Any other duty assigned by the Academic Manager.
