A popular restaurant in the Sandton area is looking for an excellent kitchen manager to join their team.

 

The ideal candidate must have good cooking skills.

 

 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food orders

Supervise food prep and cooking

Schedule kitchen staff shifts

Hire kitchen staff

Order food supplies and kitchen equipment, as needed

Maintain & repair kitchen equipment

Store food products in compliance with safety practices (e.g. in refrigerators)

Proper food disposal

Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen area

Keep weekly and monthly cost reports

 

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 8 years experience as a kitchen manager or head chef

REMUNERATION:

R20 000 - R40 000 depending on experience and skill
