Job Summary

A marketing and advertising company in Sandton is currently looking to employ a vibrant Junior Community Manager. This individual will be responsible for setting, planning and implementing social media and communication campaigns and/or strategies to align with clients briefed outcomes.

 

Duties:

 

 

 

Providing engaging text, image and video content for social media accounts

 

Responding to comments and client queries in a timely manner

 

Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews

 

Organize and manage the social media platform to boost brand awareness

 

Coordinate with Marketing, PR and Communications teams

 

Build relationships with customers, and respond to customers in a timely manner

 

Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends

 

Creating, managing and growing the company’s presence through blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other strategically relevant online properties responsible for customer support

 

Liaise with other departments to develop digital, multimedia and social media content for various projects

 

Contribute to the daily, weekly and monthly content calendars for clients and apply creativity

 

Assist in defining and implementing social strategies in conjunction with other digital efforts within the team

 

 

Requirements:

 

 

 

Related Degree/ Diploma in digital marketing, digital advertising

 

+1 years’ experience as a Community Manager

 

Intermediate knowledge on all digital platforms

 

Knowledgeable on social media best practice

 

Strong verbal and writing skills

 

Solid understanding of B2B Marketing

 

Basic knowledge of Hootsuite, SEO, Google Suites would be an advantage
