IT Service Manager Consultant (IVANTI Software Support) – Cape Town


R20 000 – R30 000 Per Month Negotiable based on Qualification and Experience






To effectively deliver consulting services to The Company’s Clients by analysing, documenting, installing, configuring and integrating IVANTI Service Manager and Other IVANTI software products / solutions.


One would describe you as having excellent technical / solution design and architecture skills together with possessing excellent communication, problem-solving, planning and organisational skills.  You are decisive with the ability to work well within a team as well as to provide technical coaching and mentorship.







Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce OR BSC in Computer Science or Relevant Experience

3-5 years industry related experience gained with at least 6-12 months Ivanti software OR any other service management software experience gained

Business Analysis and facilitation skills or experience gained

Project Management exposure gained

Software Configuration Consulting experience

6-12+ Months:


Ivanti Service Manager / any other Service Management (Heat, Remedy, Service Now, ForMe etc.) / Enterprise Software Administration experience gained

Enterprise Software Integration experience gained

Ivanti Xtraction any other Reporting software experience gained


Exposure to SQL, HTML, XML, Java Scripting

Exposure to Enterprise Software Infrastructure







Deliver quality consulting services to the Client

Design and configure solutions that maximise the client’s software investment and reducing waste accordingly

Enhance the Client’s working relationship to build longer relationship

Develop/Configure custom software solutions as required through scripting and software configuration

Provide Support - Ivanti product Suite

Support the development and growth of the services delivered by the Company

Provide Demos on Ivanti Suite of products if required

Provide input into Project Task estimation and effort

Delivery of consulting services to install, configure, and integrate software products from Ivanti

Prepare technical documentation as specified in customer contracts and as internally required

Support sales of software and services through demonstrations, proof of concepts and customer presentations

Deliver projects on customer premise or remotely as required

Documenting processes and application instructions

Provide value-based assessments and workshops to help the customer maximize business results from their Ivanti software

Proficiency at improving work methods and procedures (Quality Output)
