Our client is a dynamic, proudly South African bunker-trading and fuel supply company, operating out of Cape Town, South Africa. Their customers enjoy industry-leading customer service and competitive pricing on marine and inland fuel and lubricant products, both domestically in Southern Africa and beyond. They are looking for someone to manage their Depot in Philippi.

 

Job Description:

 

Key points

 

Customer introduction, sales, and maintenance of customer satisfaction.

Growth & Profitability

SHEQ & Operational compliance

Ensure all PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is up to standard & maintained by all depot staff.

 

 

Roles & Responsibilities

 

Ensure Depot Complies with operational and legal requirements regarding Health and Safety.

Customer satisfaction, handling all queries and complaints, maintenance of service level agreements.

Ensure sufficient communication with our clients as well as other departments within the Company.

Ensure efficient housekeeping at client sites.

Ensuring all admin is up to date and accurate stock sheets, without stock losses each month.

Daily cash report & weekly sales reports.

 

Duties

 

Receiving daily orders from clients, your phone to be an extension of yourself.

Growing client base – by Signing up new clients

Placing

Daily banking

Fuelling of vessels

Daily safety checks

Issuing delivery notes to vessels

Sending delivery notes daily to head office

Filling out delivery notes correctly with vessel name, company name and order number if applicable.

Only supply ordered quantity, not more.

Checking with debtors to make sure term clients can be supplied

Checking with debtors if cash clients has paid before supplying

Ensuring tanks are filled before price increase.

Ensuring tanks are at its lowest level before price decrease.

Requirements

 

3-5 years’ experience as a Depot Manager

Experience as a Fuel Depot Manager would be beneficial.

Need to be bilingual.

 

 

Salary

 

Salary R25 000 – R30 000 cost to company based on experience
