Description

A vacancy exists for a Credit Control Supervisor based at Head Office Dunkeld, reporting to the Credit Manager National Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the credit control of all Rehab Units and the national Refund department. It will require being part of the Rehab Credit Control team with the aim of meeting deadlines and targets. It will involve strategic planning to improve all round performances.

 

Critical Outputs

Ensure DSO’s are in line with budget

Ensure the targets are met weekly/monthly

Cash targets are met weekly/monthly

Promote efficiencies within a centralized environment

Ongoing review of processes to ensure that the service delivered to the Rehab units are of a high standard

Constant and ongoing interaction with the units to improve the debtor’s days and performances

To minimize bad debts

Regular meetings to all other relevant departments/stakeholders

To implement special projects/assignments to improve the cash flow and overall debtor’s performances

To provide vital leadership to the credit control team

To promote a positive climate within the department

To motivate and develop staff

Ensuring the Refunds are managed and with minimal or no quality issues raised.

 

Requirements

 

Business Diploma or tertiary qualification in Credit Management will be advantageous

Experience in credit control at a senior level

Performed in a supervisory capacity

Must have managed a team of minimum five staff members previously

Sound knowledge of credit control within the healthcare environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Presentation skills

Ability to handle pressure

Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage.

Computer proficiency.

Driver’s license and ability to travel.
