Experience:

• 2 years’ related experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform operating activities
• Issue / cancel permits to work (operating)
• Perform the following administrative duties
• Maintain electrical plant equipment, do fault finding and attend to breakdowns
• Assist with modification level 1 and 2
• Take out plant permits as per laid down procedures e.g. maintenance
• Investigate recurring problems level 3 only
• Check that correct spares and materials are available as an when needed
• Perform stand by duties
• Supervise contractors / Eskom staff activities during outages
• Assist with the writing of procedures / instructions / guides and compilation of work packages and submit for authorization
• Perform any other legitimate activity as required
