Job Summary
Well established business seeking a Brand Manager - Prescription Products.
The incumbent will be: Responsible for developing commercial strategies and implementation thereof for the product portfolio.
Market research, gap analysis, identifying business opportunities, product feasibility studies and outcomes to ensure brand profitability.
Thorough knowledge and management of pricing of product portfolio Marketing, Inventory management, forecasting and inter action with the manufacturing and supply functions.
Coordination of key- digital projects for the portfolio and business.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 2-3 years Brand Manager experience, with a relevant Science, Medical or Pharmaceutical Tertiary qualification.
Good pharmaceutical Business Acumen, with a minimum 5 years within the pharmaceutical industry.
Proven pharma experience and success in a marketing/sales/commercial position
Good knowledge and experience of pharmaceutical information systems and data, i.e., Impact Rx, TPM etc.
Fully competent in excel, power-point and outlook
Experience and proven success in digital marketing initiatives
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Commercial Portfolio and Product Plans: Develop the annual portfolio marketing plans with full accountability for the full promotional mix for health professionals, collaborating with key stakeholders (stakeholder mapping).
Strategy Implementation: Accountable for the execution of healthcare campaigns at key stakeholders working infield with representatives and meeting relevant KOL’s.
Development and roll-out of Promotional Materials: Work with agencies to develop high quality omnichannel promotional materials and take responsibility for ensuring these are reviewed and approved as per the company policy. Ensure these materials are rolled out in a manner which supports and advances the product strategy
Market Research: Develop in-depth understanding and become expert in the disease areas, the customer/patient relationship, and the brands.
Financial: Ensure delivery of brand financial goals through detailed analysis and understanding of short-term brand performances and drivers of the business model.
New Business Development: Assist with Gap Analysis of the current Mylan product portfolio and identify new business opportunities.
Inventory Management: Closely manage stock, stock cover and sales
Internal Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate strategic and tactical execution between Sales, KAMS, Supply,
QA, Regulatory, Finance and Marketing.
