Accounting & Finance
Palladium seeks Polokwane-based staff for its South African Health Systems Strengthening (SAHSS) Project. The purpose of the SAHSS Project is to strengthen health system through improved leadership and accountability for results in public and private health sectors.
All staff must be fluent in written and spoken English and able and willing to travel frequently within South Africa. Experience on USAID-funded contracts is highly desired.
Under the direction of the Finance & Administration (F&A) Director, s/he is responsible for assisting the SAHSS leadership team to manage and direct the financial accounting, administration, and reporting of the project, including budget administration, payroll processing, banking and cash management, financial reporting, and reconciliation of expenses. Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required; masters and/or CPA preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in accounting for donor-funded projects; experience with USAID contracts highly preferred.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Well-developed and effective organizational skills, including to ability to multi-task and work in a high-pressure environment.
